Our workflow uses absolutely zero AI tools. From research to writing and editing, it’s all human and handcrafted with love.

We’ve seen AI text output, and it’s not pretty.
We believe that writing is one of the truest art forms. It’s an expression of human experiences and thoughts. Technically, everyone has a keyboard or a keypad. But not everyone can form cohesive sentences to write magnetic prose that holds the reader’s attention. Though we’re not saying we can go toe-to-toe against poets writing epics and renowned novelists writing creative fiction, we do have the poise and experience to craft articles, blog posts, news stories, documentation, website content, marketing material, and so much more. And AI tools only muddy the situation.
They spit out robotic, dull, and monotonous text. It’s a factor of their design. When pretrained on lots of human-written text, the AI text generator only has a description of the “ideal” text. Truth is, there’s no ideal text. Each writer naturally uses the current flow, their own knowledge, and recent research to weave narratives or paragraphs together in a beautiful way.
Our promise to you
We never use AI. Many clients demand AI detector screenshots, and we supply them. Sometimes, we might also accept a client’s request to have a premium AI detector check, on our expense. That being said, we’re not 100% confident that AI detectors are accurate or reliable. We simply cannot guarantee that each piece of text from us will show up 0% AI across all AI detectors.

Strictly no use of AI tools
Our writers cannot use AI tools. We internally review their drafts and due to many client requirements, also use certain AI detectors. Plus, we’ve become acclimatized to discerning AI text from human text naturally over the years.

Maintain the collective ethos
We trust each other because before AI, we’ve seen many challenges where clients wanted proof. Are we plagiarizing? Are we spinning content? Are we writing surface-level stuff only? Today, it’s are we writing with AI? That answer has always been no.

Advanced collaboration & editing
We use editors and collaborative writing in edge cases where we suspect something might be off. It turns out to be a false alarm more often than not, but we do have our own guardrails. We dislike websites full of AI text. We’d do our best to keep the world clean.
Say no to AI-generated writing & text
Writers, business owners, and website admins! We call your attention to a grave issue. Today, the internet is filled to the brim with misinformation, slop, low-effort content, copyright-infringing art, and more, all stemming from AI tools. LLMs have been trained not only on the public, fair-use internet data, but also on proprietary, copyrighted, and personal data.
And all these AI labs are in a race to one-up each other, training newer models of ever-increasing size, with no plans on how to regulate, stop adverse effects, or stop.
But our gripe isn’t with AI itself as a technology. We leave that to experts, scientists, and policymakers. What we are against is AI-generated textual content that’s used commercially. Why? Three main reasons, given on the right.

Reason 1: Kills creativity
No matter how good of a “prompt engineer” you are, AI is still derivative. The current way to train AI models is to first load it with already-existing data. Even supposedly “new” ideas it creates are just predictions of what humans would consider “new” based on existing data. That’s the opposite of creativity. Do we really want to build a world where pretrained tools regurgitate without creating anything new, a world of derivative slop?
Reason 2: Retrains on slop
The more AI text we upload on the internet, the more newer models pick it up. The ratio of AI content to once-new, rich, juicy human content is fast-moving. We need humans to keep generating new ideas, better content, and finer prose. But given the current scenario, what’s more likely is AI models of the future just believing previous AI content to be example of human writing, and attune more toward that. Do we really want to live in a nightmare world where AI slop is considered normal human content?
Reason 3: Takes jobs away
This one is a no-brainer. AI tools started with generating text before they generates images, edited videos, produced vector graphics, create music and voiceover, and did programming. Writers were hit first. And it’s been bad. A ton of companies openly cite AI-related efficiency/optimization while laying hundreds off. A much larger number of companies don’t directly cite AI. But we all know it’s happening. When an AI model is so advanced that it can replace dozens of developers, support staff, even marketing personnel in companies, just imagine how bad us writers have it. Do we really want to create a world where writing isn’t considered a proper career or hobby anymore?
