Terms of Use

Last Updated: August 15, 2026

Welcome to ArticleWriter. These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the ArticleWriter website at articlewriter.com (the “Website”), as well as any writing, research, editing, proofreading, content development, or related services we provide (collectively, the “Services”).

By accessing the Website, submitting an inquiry, requesting a sample, placing an order, or otherwise using our Services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use the Website or Services.

1. About ArticleWriter

ArticleWriter provides professional writing and related content services. Depending on the requirements of a particular project, our Services may include article writing, blog writing, website content, copywriting, research, editing, proofreading, and other forms of written content.

The specific scope, price, turnaround time, deliverables, and other requirements of a project may be agreed separately between ArticleWriter and the client.

2. Eligibility

You must have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement in order to purchase our Services.

If you place an order on behalf of a business, organization, or other entity, you represent that you have authority to accept these Terms on its behalf.

3. Inquiries and Orders

You may contact us or submit an order request through the forms available on the Website or through other communication methods made available by ArticleWriter.

Submitting an inquiry or order form does not automatically create a binding obligation for ArticleWriter to accept the project.

Before work begins, we may confirm matters such as:

  • the type and scope of content required;
  • approximate or exact word count;
  • research requirements;
  • style, tone, and formatting requirements;
  • deadlines;
  • revision requirements;
  • pricing and payment terms; and
  • any other project-specific instructions.

An order is considered accepted once ArticleWriter confirms that it has accepted the project.

We reserve the right to refuse an order or discontinue discussions regarding a proposed project at our discretion, including where we believe we cannot reasonably fulfil the requirements.

4. Client Instructions and Materials

You are responsible for providing sufficient and accurate instructions for us to complete your order.

This may include briefs, reference material, websites, documents, brand information, style guides, keywords, examples, data, images, or other materials (“Client Materials”).

You represent that you have the necessary rights and permissions to provide Client Materials to ArticleWriter and to instruct us to use them for the purposes of completing your project.

You must not knowingly provide material that:

  • infringes another person’s copyright, trademark, privacy, confidentiality, or other rights;
  • is unlawful;
  • contains malicious software or harmful code; or
  • ArticleWriter would be prohibited from possessing or using under applicable law.

ArticleWriter is not responsible for errors or problems caused by inaccurate, incomplete, outdated, or misleading information supplied by the client.

5. Pricing and Payment

Prices may be provided through the Website, by email, through a quotation, or through another agreed communication method.

Unless otherwise stated, a quotation applies only to the scope of work described in that quotation. Material changes to the brief, additional deliverables, substantial rewrites outside the original requirements, or other additional work may result in additional charges.

Payment terms will be communicated when the order is accepted.

Where payments are processed through a third-party payment provider, that provider may also apply its own terms and privacy practices.

You are responsible for any taxes, duties, or similar charges applicable to your purchase except taxes imposed on ArticleWriter’s own income.

6. Turnaround and Delivery

We aim to provide reasonable turnaround times while allowing sufficient time for research, writing, editing, and quality control.

Any delivery time provided before or during a project is an estimate unless we expressly agree that a deadline is fixed.

Turnaround may be affected by the size and complexity of an order, changes to the brief, delayed feedback or information from the client, unusually large orders, or circumstances outside our reasonable control.

If a specific publication or business deadline is essential, you should communicate this before we accept the order.

7. Revisions, Cancellations, and Refunds

ArticleWriter offers revisions to its work. The scope and number of revisions may depend on the nature of the project and any terms agreed when the order is placed.

A revision generally means modifying a deliverable so that it better complies with the originally agreed brief. A request that substantially changes the topic, purpose, direction, length, research requirements, or other material part of the original brief may be treated as additional work.

Any cancellation, refund, satisfaction guarantee, or similar offer displayed on the Website or agreed for a particular project is subject to the conditions associated with that offer.

Where a dispute or dissatisfaction arises, we encourage clients to contact us so that we can attempt to resolve the matter reasonably.

8. Free Samples and Promotional Offers

ArticleWriter may occasionally provide free custom samples or other promotional services.

The availability, length, scope, and conditions of any such offer may change from time to time. A promotional offer does not create an obligation for ArticleWriter to provide further free work or to accept a subsequent paid order.

Any specific conditions displayed with a sample or promotional offer form part of these Terms.

9. Our No-AI Use Policy

ArticleWriter is committed to human-authored writing.

We do not use generative AI text-generation tools to write client deliverables. Our research, writing, and editing processes are performed by human writers and editors in accordance with our No AI Use Policy.

We may use AI-detection or similar verification services for quality-control purposes or at a client’s request.

AI-detection systems are third-party tools whose results may vary. Accordingly, while we stand behind our commitment not to generate your content using AI text-generation tools, we do not guarantee that a deliverable will receive a particular score, classification, or percentage from any AI-detection service.

Different detectors may produce different results for the same human-written text, and a detector result alone does not establish how a piece of content was produced.

Our current No AI Use Policy is available separately on the Website.

10. Ownership of Client Materials

You retain ownership of Client Materials you provide to us.

You grant ArticleWriter and the writers, editors, contractors, and service providers working on your project a limited right to access, reproduce, review, edit, and otherwise use those materials solely as reasonably necessary to provide the Services.

This permission ends when it is no longer reasonably necessary for us to provide the Services or fulfil legitimate business, recordkeeping, or legal obligations.

11. Ownership of Deliverables

Unless different terms are expressly agreed for a particular order, once we have received full payment for the applicable project, the client receives ArticleWriter’s transferable rights in the final written deliverable created specifically for that client.

This does not transfer ownership of:

  • ArticleWriter’s pre-existing materials;
  • internal processes, workflows, techniques, templates, or know-how;
  • third-party materials;
  • publicly available information or source material used during research; or
  • intellectual property that cannot legally be transferred.

Drafts, internal notes, research notes, unused concepts, and other working materials do not form part of the final deliverable unless expressly agreed.

12. Website Content and Intellectual Property

The Website and its original content, including its text, branding, graphics, design elements, logos, articles, and other materials, are owned by or licensed to ArticleWriter unless otherwise stated.

You may access Website content for ordinary personal or business informational purposes.

You may not reproduce, republish, sell, distribute, scrape, systematically extract, or commercially exploit substantial portions of the Website without our permission, except where permitted by law.

13. Research and Factual Information

We take research seriously and aim to produce accurate and useful content based on the information reasonably available when the work is performed.

However, information can become outdated, sources can contain errors, and some subjects involve interpretation or uncertainty.

Unless expressly agreed otherwise, ArticleWriter does not provide legal, medical, financial, accounting, investment, or other regulated professional advice.

Clients remain responsible for reviewing final content before publication, particularly where it concerns regulated industries, factual claims, product specifications, prices, legal requirements, medical information, financial information, or other matters where accuracy is particularly important.

14. No Guarantee of Business or SEO Results

Professional writing can contribute to a broader marketing, publishing, or communications strategy, but results depend on many factors outside our control.

Unless expressly agreed in writing, we do not guarantee:

  • search-engine rankings;
  • website traffic;
  • leads or conversions;
  • sales or revenue;
  • social engagement;
  • acceptance by a particular publication;
  • approval by advertising or other platforms;
  • continued ranking after publication; or
  • any particular commercial outcome.

15. Prohibited Uses

You may not use the Website or Services:

  • for unlawful or fraudulent purposes;
  • to violate another person’s intellectual-property or privacy rights;
  • to distribute malware or interfere with the security or operation of the Website;
  • to impersonate another person or misrepresent your authority;
  • to attempt unauthorized access to our systems; or
  • in any manner that could materially harm ArticleWriter, our personnel, our clients, or other users.

We may refuse or discontinue work where we reasonably believe a project involves unlawful activity or a material violation of these Terms.

16. Third-Party Websites and Services

The Website may contain links to third-party websites, tools, platforms, or services.

We do not control those third parties and are not responsible for their content, availability, security, terms, or privacy practices.

The inclusion of a link does not necessarily imply endorsement.

17. Website Availability

We may modify, update, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Website from time to time.

We do not guarantee that the Website will always be available, uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.

18. Disclaimer of Warranties

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the Website and Services are provided on an “as available” basis.

Except for commitments expressly made in these Terms or agreed with a client in writing, ArticleWriter disclaims warranties that may otherwise be implied by law to the extent those warranties can lawfully be excluded.

Nothing in these Terms excludes rights or warranties that cannot legally be excluded.

19. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, ArticleWriter will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive losses arising from the use of the Website or Services, including loss of profits, revenue, business opportunities, goodwill, or data.

Where ArticleWriter is found liable in connection with a paid order, our total aggregate liability relating to that order will not exceed the amount paid to ArticleWriter for the order giving rise to the claim, except where applicable law does not permit such a limitation.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited or excluded.

20. Indemnification

You agree to be responsible for claims, losses, damages, liabilities, and reasonable costs arising from Client Materials or instructions you provide where such materials or instructions infringe another person’s rights, violate applicable law, or materially breach these Terms.

This section applies only to the extent permitted by applicable law.

21. Privacy

Our collection and use of personal information is described in our Privacy Policy.

Information included in project briefs and communications may need to be shared with the writers, editors, and service providers involved in completing an order.

If a project involves particularly sensitive or confidential information, please inform us before providing that information so that any necessary confidentiality arrangements can be discussed.

22. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes to our Website, Services, business practices, or legal obligations.

When we make changes, we will update the “Last Updated” date at the top of this page.

The version in effect when an order is accepted will normally apply to that order unless a change is required by law or otherwise agreed between the parties.

23. Governing Law

These Terms and any dispute arising from them are governed by the laws of United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

The courts located in the United States will have jurisdiction over disputes arising from these Terms, except where applicable consumer law gives you the right to bring proceedings elsewhere.

24. Severability

If any part of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in effect to the fullest extent permitted by law.

25. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with any written quotation, project agreement, invoice terms, or other terms expressly agreed between ArticleWriter and the client, constitute the agreement relating to the relevant Services.

Where an individually agreed project term conflicts with these general Terms, the individually agreed term will take precedence for that project.
